Be Encouraged: He Sees It All!
Your Needed Reminder That You Are Seen, Sustained, and Strengthened by the Sovereign Savior.
Today is all about this one thing: God wants you to be encouraged.
He sees everything going on in your life — every detail, every struggle, every quiet tear — and He truly wants what’s best for you. But here's where it gets tricky: a lot of us think “God’s best” means life will be easy, smooth, and stress-free. And if you’ve been walking with God for a minute, you know that’s just not always how it goes. Sometimes God answers our prayers with a gentle, “Not yet.”
And let's be real... waiting? It’s hard. It can feel lonely, frustrating, and confusing. But here’s the truth: waiting is part of growing up in faith. It’s a spiritual workout — one that builds trust, patience, and strength. Today, we’re digging into Isaiah 40:27–31 to help remind us that the goal isn’t just to be good at following God — it’s to grow confident in His power to lead us well, even when we can’t see the finish line yet.
Scriptures: Isaiah 40:27-31
Let’s zoom out for a second and talk about what’s happening in the book of Isaiah. Isaiah is often called the “fifth gospel” because it’s packed with good news, especially about the coming of Jesus and God’s deep love for His people. Now, the first part of the book, Chapters 1-39, is pretty intense. They're full of warnings and judgment because the people kept turning away from God. But then something shifts in Chapter 40. This chapter kicks off what many call the “Book of Comfort.” Instead of more warnings, God starts speaking hope and encouragement to people who are tired, discouraged, and broken — people who would eventually find themselves stuck in a tough place, far from home, in Babylonian captivity, probably wondering, “Has God forgotten us?” But here’s the powerful part: God doesn’t answer with punishment — He answers with a promise. And that promise wasn’t just for Israel. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt worn out, overlooked, or like they’ve come to the end of their rope. If that’s you? This message is for you.
GOD Sees YOU! Even When You FEEL Forgotten (Isaiah 40:27)
In Isaiah 40:27, God’s people were worn out. They weren’t just confused in their minds — they were hurting in their hearts. They were saying things like:
“God, do You even see me?”
“Why are You ignoring what I’m going through?”
“Do You still care?”
Honestly, we’ve all felt that way at some point. When life feels unfair, or too heavy it’s easy to start thinking maybe God walked away.
But here’s the truth in big, bold letters:
God sees you.
He hears you.
He hasn’t forgotten you — not for one second.
And guess what? God isn’t mad at your questions. He welcomes your honesty. He can handle your sadness, your doubt, your frustration —all of it. What He won’t do is force His way into the places you’re trying to hide.
So bring Him the mess, the ache, the “I don’t get it.” Because you’re not invisible. You’re not ignored. You are deeply known and fully loved.
GOD Sustains You! Especially When You Feel Weak (Isaiah 40:28–29)
God doesn’t just see you—He holds you up when you feel like you can’t take another step. Isaiah reminds us that God is everlasting. That means He never runs out of time, energy, or patience. He’s the Creator, not something created. He doesn’t need sleep. He doesn’t need a break. He doesn’t need coffee to keep going ☕—but we do!
So when we’re tired, overwhelmed, or on the edge of giving up, God doesn’t say, “Figure it out.” He says, “Let me be your strength.” That’s what God has always done. He gave strength to Gideon, David, and the Israelites—again and again.
And here’s the key: God doesn’t need strong people. He gives strength to people who are willing to trust Him, even when they feel weak. 2 Corinthians 12:9
Sometimes you feel tired because…
Your prayers feel ignored
People let you down
Your money’s tight
Your heart is heavy
You smile in public but feel like you’re suffocating inside
That’s not real strength — that’s survival mode. And God isn’t telling you to just push through. He’s saying: “I SEE you. And I have all the strength you need.”
GOD Strengthens You… As You Wait On HIM (Isaiah 40:30–31)
Even the strongest people get tired.
Isaiah says even the ones with energy for days — run out of steam. So, if you’re tired, worn out, or feeling like you can’t keep going... you’re not broken — you’re human.
But here’s the good news: God gives strength—but it comes while we wait. Now, waiting doesn’t mean sitting around doing nothing. It means leaning in with expectancy, like a firefighter by the alarm, suited up and ready. It’s not passive—it’s active trust.
Think of an eagle. It doesn’t waste energy flapping around trying to stay in the air. It waits for the wind, spreads its wings, and lets the wind carry it. That’s what you do when you wait on God. You stop flapping in your own strength… And start soaring in His.
You might be praying and still waiting for:
Healing
Direction
Financial help
A relationship to be restored
And it might feel like God’s taking forever. But He’s not slow—He’s strategic. He’s working behind the scenes, building your strength as you wait.
JESUS—The Strength in Our Weakness
God is more faithful than we can imagine. When we’re hurting... We need a Person not words. That Person is JESUS.
He stepped into our weakness — He didn’t stay distant (John 1:14).
He carried our sins on His back (1 Peter 2:24).
He defeated death so we could live with real hope.
On the cross Jesus was feeling all the weight of loneliness and abandonment—so you wouldn’t have to.
If you’ve never truly trusted Jesus before—this is your moment. He’s not asking you to clean yourself up, fake a smile, or pretend you’re okay.
Come to the One who:
Sees your pain
Bears your shame
Gives you peace and rest
You don’t need a pep talk. You need a Person.
And Jesus is ready to be your foundation, not just your good feeling.
This is for You!
The one barely hanging on
The one who feels emotionally crushed
The one who wants to believe but is barely breathing
Be Encouraged. Not because everything’s easy… But because God is enough. If you’re discouraged—don’t hold it in. God isn’t scared of your tears. He can handle your honesty. He’s close enough to carry your heart.
So here’s the invitation:
Cry out
Call on Him
Trust Him
Wait on Him
And watch Him renew your strength. Just like the butterfly—you’re being transformed. And your story’s not over.
